“Fajitas & Margaritas”
Fort Worth, TX Wedding Shower
Custom design for a Texan couple’s wedding shower
The hand-painted brushwork, sunny earthen color palette, and square aspect ratio recall the artistry of Mexican talavera tile, an art form celebrated and frequently seen in the couple’s hometown.
Margaritas playfully reference the theme of the wedding shower, while the kites represent the way the couple describes their own relationship: a kite which soars freely, and a string that keeps them grounded in the present.
